Hi Families,
Last week the students began persuasive writing with Mr. Mosca. He taught the student that
they can write to make the world a better place and use their words as power.
“First you need to ask yourself where you see a problem, next, think of ways to
solve it, and finally, write to make things better.” The students
identified a problem they see, thought about how to solve it, and wrote letters
to make the world a better place.
Also, we had another wonderful
Spotlight Student Week. This week’s Spotlight Student invited his mom to
come in and read his favorite book. We also learned about his family, his
animals, and all the things he likes to do.
Lastly, we went to the food
pantry. The students walked over with all of the food they collected and
donated it. They were safe, kind, and responsible as they learned about the
weekly operations and purpose of this place.
