Updates and Events

Hello Families,
We had an exciting first week with our new student teacher, Mariah Gentley.  She was also very excited to join our class. She will officially teach her first lesson this Wednesday.

We also had a busy week at the Book Factory!  Our class created so many wonderful pattern book during writers workshop, that it was like a book factory in our room.  We decided to make posters welcoming classes in to see our books.  We had around fifty books in our factory and it was so much fun!  One visiting student remarked that it reminded him of going to the Ben and Jerry's factory last summer!  Please enjoy the pictures I have attached below.

We will also have our first week of Spotlight Student.  I can't wait to see the posters each week and to celebrate each child in the class!
