Hello Families,
Happy New Year! Thank you to everyone who
remembered their books and their winter challenge sheet. The students have been doing a lot of fabulous
reading and we just finished learning about how to activate all of our reading
powers. The students have a bookmark in their
Home Reading Folder and one in their book box with all the reading strategies on it. The week
before break we decided to share our gift of reading with the preschool. Please see the pictures at the bottom of this
post.
Also, this Friday, the student will be
bringing home a poster, a schedule, and an information sheet about being the Spotlight
Student. Each child has a special week
to be recognized. The letter outlines
